Dr Natalie Collins is a Research Fellow in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at The University of Queensland, Australia. Her research focuses on understanding the spectrum of patellofemoral pain conditions across the lifespan – from patellofemoral pain in adolescents and young adults, to patellofemoral osteoarthritis in later life – to optimise management and prognosis. Her work covers a breadth of research methodologies, including clinical trials, systematic reviews, patient-reported outcomes, imaging, biomechanics and electromyography. Dr Collins has published more than 50 peer-review papers in the field of lower limb pain, injury and osteoarthritis. She is a member of the OARSI Young Investigators Committee and Communications Committee, as well as the OARSI Clinical Trials Initiative. Dr Collins maintains a clinical role as a Sports Physiotherapist, specialising in the management of patients with knee pain, injury and osteoarthritis.
